Right to Cancel/Returns

Personalised registrations are bespoke; the 14-day cancellation period does not apply once the transfer begins.

Cancellation before transfer may incur a fee. Once a registration is purchased and the transfer of ownership process has commenced, the registration cannot be returned.

Refunds

Refunds are only issued in the following circumstances:

• The registration mark is no longer available or cannot be transferred due to DVLA restrictions.
• A cancellation request is received before the transfer process begins and is approved by ShortReg.

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 5 working days of approval.

Non-refundable costs may include DVLA assignment or retention fees (if already paid), administrative or processing fees, and no refunds will be issued once the DVLA transfer process has started, unless the failure is due to an error on our part.
